Overview: SEC’s newest committee was created to provide insight on the success and reach of SEC’s events. The Marketing and Analytics Committee (MAC) develops key metrics and uses data analytics to evaluate the extent to which different events accomplish their purpose. In addition to evaluating the events, MAC measures the outreach of different publicity efforts to increase the efficiency and impact of the Student Engineering Council. Currently in its inaugural year, MAC focuses on SEC’s committee events. However, it will expand to events planned by Cockrell Relations Chairs (CRCs) in the future.
