Student Engineering Council is an organization representing the Cockrell School of Engineering student body on campus and in the community. The voting body consists of the elected Officer Group, selected Members-At-Large (MALs), Cockrell Relations Chairs (CRCs) from admitted student engineering organizations (Member Societies), an elected Senate Representative to The University of Texas at Austin Senate of College Councils, and Student Government Representatives from The University of Texas at Austin Student Government. All undergraduate engineering students retain membership as Associate Members within the Student Engineering Council and are encouraged to attend general meetings and other SEC events and activities presented in our calendar.
If you are interested in serving in a greater capacity, consider attending one of our general meetings (every other Monday at 7:00 PM in ETC 2.108) or apply to be a Member-At-Large. If you are a freshman, become involved in the Society of Freshman Engineers!
