The Student Engineering Council website will be experiencing a restructuring over the next few days. Some of the links may not function correctly. We apologize for the inconvenience. The I.T. Committee is working to provide you with easier access to information about the SEC. Thank you for your patience!

We have finalized plans to replace the monochrome laser and fax machines in the SEC office with a new monochrome laser all in one with fax, scanning, and auto-duplexing capabilities. Plan on it arriving sometime in November!

 

 

Awards!

Our SEC was presented with the Best Website/Publication at the 2011 Central Region conference of the National Association of Engineering Student Councils! Congratulations are due to the previous IT Chairs who established this website, Isaac Aggrey and Connor Landy. Thanks guys!

 

 

Summary

The I.T. committee functions as an integral part of the council that was established to:

 

  1. Oversee committee correspondence in areas such as efficient transfer of information between new chairs, website accessibility, and mailing lists
  2. Maintain a website that complements both the principles of the Student Engineering Council and style guidelines of the Cockrell School of Engineering
  3. Provide technical support in the Student Engineering Council office
