Hey Everyone! Student Engineering Council is planning a Middle School Design Competition and needs volunteers! This year, the competition is supposed to have roughly 100 student participants, so it’ll be the biggest one yet. This is a great opportunity not only serve the community and positively impact the middle schoolers, but it’s also a great way to get a feel for the work that engineering students do outside of the 40 acres. As a volunteer, you will work with the children on their projects, guide them in anyway you can, facilitate the event overall, and judge projects for the final prizes. All engineering students are welcome to volunteer so please spread the word!
If you want to volunteer at the event, sign up here (two shifts: 8:30am-11am and 10:30am-1:30pm).
