Structure

The Student Engineering Council is led by the Officer Group consisting of a President, Vice President of Financial Affairs, Vice President of Internal Affairs, Vice President of External Affairs, Vice President of Corporate Affairs, and Vice President of Special Events.

The voting body consists of the elected Officer Group, selected Members-At-Large, Society Representatives from admitted student engineering organizations (Member Societies), an elected Senate Representative to the University of Texas at Austin Senate of College Councils, and Student Government Representatives from the University of Texas at Austin Student Government.

Participate

All undergraduate engineering students retain membership as Associate Members within the Student Engineering Council and are encouraged to attend general meetings and other SEC events and activities presented in our calendar.

If you are interested in serving in a greater capacity, consider applying to be a committee chair or Member-At-Large. Also, if you are a freshman, you should become involved in the Freshman Engineering Committee!
